Dieses Video mit Behati Prinsloo und Model-Freund Jamie Strachan in den Hauptrollen ist zwar nicht neu, aber es ist definitiv eines meiner Lieblingsvideos und deshalb wollte ich unbedingt einen Post darüber schreiben. Ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich es schon gesehen habe :) Die wunderschönen, ästhetischen Aufnahmen kreieren, kombiniert mit der langsamen und auf gewisse Art und Weise getragenen Musik (Gymnopédie No. 1 von Erik Satie) eine Atmosphäre und einen Eindruck purer Leidenschaft und Liebe. Mir gefällt es auch gut, dass sich das Paar am nächsten Morgen wieder verabschiedet - meines Erachtens ist das realistischer und authentischer als ein kitschiges 'Happy End' ohne Trennung.

Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich die Kleidung, die Behati trägt! ;) Die Lederhose, die sie direkt am Anfang trägt, ist einfach nur schön und sexy und die hoch geschnittenen Shorts (Min. 0:26-0:30) sehen toll an ihr aus.

This video, starring Behati Prinsloo and her model boyfriend Jamie Strachan, is indeed not new, but I just had to make a post about it as it is definitely one of the videos I love the most! I don't know how many times I've watched it :) The beautiful, aesthetic shots combined with a slow and somehow melancholic music (Gymnopédie No. 1 by Erik Satie) create an atmosphere and feeling of true passion and love. I actually like the fact that the couple parts the next morning - in my opinion this is more realistic, more authentic than a kitschy 'happy end' without separation.

Of course the clothes Behati is wearing must be mentioned! ;) The leather pants she wears right at the beginning are simply gorgeous and sexy and the high-waisted pants (min 0:26-0:30) look great on her.

Fast null Grad und die ersten winzigen, wässrigen Schneeflocken - hallo Winter! Die Nachmittage in der Schule machen es leider schwierig, anständige Fotos zu machen (es wird ja schon um halb 5 dunkel), aber hier ist der neue Outfit Post :) Ich liebe den Schal und die Mütze, die meine Mutter aus Wolle gestrickt hat. Die Farben passen gut zu meinen blonden Haaren und natürlich halten Schal und Mütze auch ordentlich warm :D ... Am Wochenende muss ich für einige Klausuren in der nächsten Woche lernen. Wünscht mir Glück!

Nearly 0 °C and the first tiny snowflakes: Hello winter! Those afternoons spent in school make it quite difficult to shoot some proper photos as it gets dark outside by half past four, but anyway, here's the new outfit post :) I'm absolutely in love with the self-made wool scarf and beanie (thanks Mum :D). I like how the colours go with my blonde hair and of course, the knitwear keeps me warm :) ... This weekend I have to study for some upcoming exams. Wish me luck, guys!

Alexa Chung, eine meiner größten Stilikonen, ist die Inspiration für meinen heutigen Look. Die Bluse habe ich durch Zufall mal bei H&M gefunden und dachte sofort, dass sie sich gut machen würde, um ein ähnliches Outfit zu kreieren. Mit einem schwarzen Blazer sah ich dann aber aus wie eine Kellnerin, deshalb habe ich mich für eine andere Jacke entschieden :D Hier in Düsseldorf ist das Wetter leider nach wie vor grau, regnerisch und windig - draußen Fotos zu machen wäre also keine gute Idee gewesen. Oh, und entschuldigt die super tollen weißen Steckdosen in den unteren Bildrändern, die waren leider unvermeidbar ;)

Today's look is inspired by one of my style icons, Alexa Chung. I found this blouse by chance at H&M and thought it would be the perfect item to create a similar outfit. Since black blazers make me look like a waitress :D, I decided to go for another jacket. Unfortunately the weather here in Düsseldorf is so grey, rainy and windy that taking pictures outside isn't a good option at the moment. Please excuse the super great white power points at the bottom of the photos, they were unavoidable ;)

Es geht doch nichts über die Eindrücke, die man sammelt, wenn man das erste Mal eine Stadt besichtigt – gerade, wenn man schon immer diese eine Stadt erleben wollte. Und wie gut, dass es Kameras gibt, die die Erinnerungen festhalten :)

There’s nothing better than the impressions you gain when visiting a city for the very first time – especially when you have always wanted to experience this specific city. Thank god for cameras that capture your unique memories forever :)

freezing?

Für mich ganz klar ein Problem in Winter :D Aber dank warmer Jacken mit (Fake-)Fur Kragen, Capes und Ponchos versuche ich, diesem Problem mit Stil zu begegnen. Die Ledertasche mit goldenen Nieten habe ich im Juni diesen Sommers schon mit aufs Hurricane Festival genommen. Zwar sieht sie nicht gerade groß aus, aber der Eindruck täuscht, von daher ist sie ein ziemlich perfekter Begleiter für mich :)

Definitely a problem in winter :D But thanks to warm jackets with (fake) fur collars, capes and ponchos I try to work out this problem in a stylish way. The studded leather bag is the one I have already taken with me to the Hurricane festival this summer. Although it doesn't seem to be that big, a lot of things fit in there, so it's quite the perfect piece for me :)
