Voilà, das erste Outfit aus dem sonnigen Nizza! Das Wetter ist umwerfend und teils so warm, dass man vergisst, dass es erst Februar und somit eigentlich noch Winter ist.
Die Hinreise war echt anstrengend, aber ich liebe das Autofahren ja. Durch die Alpen in der Schweiz, über die schnurgeraden und leergefegten Autobahnen Italiens, an Mailand vorbei, sehen, wie die Vegetation immer mediterraner wird... Ich brauch nur Palmen zu sehen und bin sofort glücklich :D Die Fotos sind auf der Dachterrasse der Villa Apex entstanden, auf der man den wunderbaren Meerblick und die Brandung genießen kann, denn sie steht auf den Felsen unmittelbar am Meer. Wassersportler, Fischerboote, Fähren nach Korsika, mondäne Yachten kreuzen den Horizont. Herrlich, hier möcht' ich bleiben!
PS. Entschuldigt diesen komischen schwarzen Fleck auf manchen Fotos, da war irgendwie was in die Kamera geraten.

Voilà, the first outfit from Nice! The weather is marvellous, and sometimes it's even so sunny and warm that you forget that it's sill winter. The journey was indeed very exhausting, but I love driving a car, so that wasn't too bad for me. We passed the Alpes in Switzerland, enjoyed the empty highways in Italy that are built straight ahead, passed Milan, and noticed that the vegetation became more and more Mediterranean. I just need to see palm trees, and I'm immediately happy :D The photos of today's look were shot on the roof terrace of Villa Apex, on which you can enjoy a stunning ocean view since the house is built on the rocks directly by the sea. Water sportsmen, fishing boats, ferries to Corsica and sophisticated yachts cross the horizon. I'd like to stay here forever!
PS. I'm sorry for the strange black dot on some pictures, there was some kind of dirt in the camera, haha.

Der Pastell-Trend für den diesjährigen Frühling und Sommer hat es mir total angetan. Es wurde auch Zeit für ein bisschen Variation, waren im letzten Jahr doch die Knallfarben dominierend.

Ich hoffe, dass ich auf der Suche nach hellen Tönen keiner mittelschweren Krise unterliegen werde - meine Haut ist so blass, dass sanfte Farben (bei den Oberteilen besonders pastellrosa, nude/beige und weiß) mich gerne mal krank aussehen lassen. Dafür liebäugele ich jetzt schon mit mintgrün und babyblau - ich lass mich überraschen!

Pastel and candy colours are one of my favourite trends for s/s 2012. It is definitely time for some variation in our wardrobes that probably burst with bright neon shades. Since my skin is very pale, the search for the right colours for me might be difficult (espcially considering tones like cotton candy pink, nude and white), but I build my hopes on mint green and baby blue. Who knows, maybe the search will be easier than I think :)

Für mich geht's jetzt endlich ab nach Nizza! Um genau zu sein, in eins der herrlichen Häuser am Meer, es ist sogar auf der Karte (wenn auch klein) zu erkennen :) Ich freue mich wahnsinnig auf die Zeit an der Côte d'Azur, habe ich mich doch letzten Sommer in die Stadt verliebt... Umso gespannter bin ich auf das Flair außerhalb der Hochsaison.
Für das Wochenende habe ich einen kleinen Post vorbereitet, vorbeischauen lohnt sich also. Sobald ich dann richtig angekommen bin, werden sicherlich auch wieder Outfitposts folgen. Also, bis dahin!

I'm off to Nice now for some weeks, and I'm super excited about the trip! I visited the city last summer for the first time, and I'm totally in love with it ever since. Looking forward to discovering a calmer Nice thanks to off-season :) A small post is already prepared for the weekend, so stay tuned. In the upcoming week I plan to post about my look of the day again :) See you then!

leather meets feather

Faux fur, faux leather - warum also nicht mal faux feather? Bei dem coolen Promod Schal konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Die Haptik stimmte - er ist weich und flauschig - und somit wurde er postwendend mitgenommen. Sehr gut kann ich ihn auch als Accessoire bei einem feinen Abendoutfit sehen - dann als Stola, denn eigentlich ist der Schal genau das. Habe ihn hier nur doppelt um den Hals geschlungen, sodass er wie eine Snood aussieht, was mir durchaus gut gefällt. Süßes Detail: An den Enden sind Bänder angebracht, sodass man eine hübsche Schleife binden kann.

Faux fur, faux leather - why not opt for faux feather? The scarf immediately caught my attention when I was entering the Promod store, and I simply could not resist its softness and fluffiness. I styled the scarf as a snood in this outfit, but actually, it's rather a stole, so it would also go well with an elegant evening dress I think. A cute detail: There is a tie at each end of the scarf to make a little bow.

cats & cable knit

Meine Herren, zur Zeit finden sich in der Stadt ja NUR tolle Teile, die man alle absolut ganz nötig braucht und bei denen man ganz einfach nicht Nein sagen kann! - Aber muss, damit einen der Geldbeutel nicht umbringt :D Somit kam heute nur eine dunkelgrüne, leicht gewachste Hose von Zara mit nach Hause. Die farblich super zu den Schuhen des heutigen Outfits passen wird! Letztere sind das zweite Paar, das ich mir bei der Nelly Fashion Night in der Nachtresidenz ausgesucht habe (lang lang ist's her, ich weiß :D).

Oh my, I find thousands of gorgeous items when strolling through the shops these days! - But my wallet just doesn't let me buy them :D Guess it's better this way. However, I purchased a pair of dark green skinnies at Zara. They go perfectly with the platforms I'm wearing in today's outfit photos. The shoes were the second pair I chose back then at Nelly Fashion Night in Düsseldorf :)

Yay, ein Outfitpost! Die Semesterabschlussklausuren sind vorüber und nun sollte ich wieder etwas Zeit zum Bloggen finden :) Da wär es schön, wenn das Wetter auch mitspielen würde, denn seit ich Zeit habe, hat es sich eingeregnet... Na ja. Ein paar der Fotos habe ich diesmal mit Instagram bearbeitet - damit hier mal ein bisschen Abwechslung reinkommt :)

Yay, a new outfit post! My exams are finally over, which means that I have time to blog again. And it would be quite nice if it didn't rain all the time now... Oh well. By the way, I edited some photos with Instagram this time, love the new effect it creates :)
